of apples and oranges
so, recently I've been planning on getting a new computer (desktop). reason being, my laptop's just too slow for all the cool new apps, like reason 3.0, ableton live... really really solid progs. I desperately need a new desktop pc. I need it for my pingo world domination plans hehe. and also to play games. I'm missin out on all the sweet ass games right now. hmm. well, not for long.
sometimes, I wish the whole world used macs. then again it might become hated like windows, and microsoft would be the leet underdog. what would be really koile is tri-boot OS-es... no, quadraboot, google-os, windoze, os x, unix. but then again it's such a bloody hassle. computing should be easy and as automatic and flowing as possible.
sometimes I equate the use of different OS-es to different mind/thinking types. amphetamine type brains would use linux operating systems cus it's just tickling for them to be using them. stoners and potheads would use mac os-es cus it's just plain cool and sexy and intuitive. it's probably the only OS that a stoner could navigate through and actually do stuff while in deepspace9 in brainmindfuckspaceland. using windows while tripping is just ... a bad trip, lol.
I just wish for the day when I can just speak to my computer and say something like, "hey dude I need you to program and design a 25 page interactive e-commerce asp website with flash and 3d and cool shit, get all the info from soandso@company.com THANKS K."
but for now a slave and a new computer would do fine.
