The best books a kid could have ...

http://www.upthefarawaytree.50megs.com The Enchanted Wood (1939) The Magic Faraway Tree (1943) The Folk of the Faraway Tree (1946) Up the Faraway Tree (1951) . By Enid Blyton . My favourite books ever . Almost directly responsible for my obsession with trippiness now . Imo Enid Blyton has got to be one of the best storytellers ever . I SO WANT ALL HER BOOKS ! Famous five , secret seven ... and the entire FARAWAY TREE series ... each book is going for like 30 pounds though . No wait, The magic faraway tree costs US$365 now !!! goodness . I guess people are really paying for their memories . Nostalgia . It's a book I have to have again , eventually . Ebay here I come . These ones go up in my Pingo Perma Library of dreams forever .
