Study in near death experiences ...
click here . This blog is becoming more like a neuro psychiatry blog than a blog about me. Hmm. Cool.
But one has to admit that the administration of a naturally occuring chemical (DMT) into the pathways of the brain either by natural (secretion) or synthetic (ingestion) methods, can induce spiritual experiences is rather interesting and thought provoking.
DMT is known to be secreted in people who have had NDEs (near death experiences). It has been scientifically recorded and the experiences recorded are strikingly similiar. (dimensional entities, spaces, etc)
The fact that we have the technology to synthesize and isolate these chemicals means that we can now conduct research on what lies beyond death. The mysteries of the universe, so forth and so on.
The only limiting factor (or rather, the main limiting factor) is the naive 'law' which governs the manufacture, ingestion and research of such chemicals, which have much scientific potential in terms of research.
We are at an age whereby majority of the population is starting to question "the meaning of life" and "why we are here" ... the secrets of the universe needs to be researched, to be discovered and my belief is that in due time, It will be.
