Caffeine Withdrawal
Caffeine withdrawal simply sucks. As I mentioned in my previous post, I slept for 36 hours, waking up only for things like food and water. No caffeine whatsoever. So needless to say, after 36 hours, I woke up feeling like my head had been run over by a steamroller, bashed and pounded by baseball bats, etc. I immediately identified these symptoms as symptoms of 'caffeine withdrawal', which I am quite so familair with. I then proceeded to my kitchen in a zombie like stupor to pour and drink 3 cups of iced coffee. The only rememdy.
I've been a caffeine addict since my O levels you see. I did'nt even drink coffee back then. I freaking ate it. I used to go around with a bottle of nescafe instant in my backpack (together with all my textbooks and stuff) and just pop a capful of coffee powder into my mouth and like wash it down with water. I did this with a study friend of mine. We had some good times with caffeine. Caffeine makes you do crazy things, especially in "nutter" dosages.
I've always been a pretty fucked up student before being introduced to the wonders of caffeine. From my prelim exam results of 27 points, I jumped to 10 points for my O levels in just 3 months. That's pretty good proof of the power of caffeine. Either that or I'm just plain fuckin' smart. hee. So there, I was addicted to caffeine from then on.
I start my day with coffee, and end my day with it. I once wrote "coffee is the cure for boredom". Which I think is pretty darn true.
So, coffee, caffeine, stimulants, etc etc ... I just love you guys. Life would just be so fucking boring without coffee, etc.
